hibernation animal sorting activities for your pocket chart and centers
a hibernating bear craft
a variety of writing prompts
bulletin board idea with printable bulletin board letters
a printable page that is great for individual assessment
Sorting activities are a great way to enhance students’ learning of hibernation. Sorting the animals into sets helps teach young children about relationships and attributes, helps them to compare and better recognize differences, and shows them that things can be categorized. The sorting activities will also help to train their brains to create organized thoughts and ways of retrieving the hibernation information.
The cute hibernating bear craft and writing craftivity create a meaningful classroom display. Hanging student-created displays in your classroom conveys to students that their work is valued and makes the message of the display more meaningful to them because they had a hand in designing it.

Pocket chart headers in both color and b/w
Clip art animal picture cards in both color and b/w
